WT26 is a 203 mm (8 in) tool from Kemper's WT Wood Modeling range. An S-curved knife: a curved blade rising to a soft point at one end, a small rounded paddle at the other, waisted in the middle. The handles are smoothly finished hardwood and the range runs to a couple of dozen profiles. Wood is the point: it slides on damp clay instead of cutting into it, so it shapes and burnishes where a steel tool would leave a line.
