WOT is Kemper's wipe out tool: a shaped rubber tip at each end, set in brass ferrules on a wooden handle. The rubber is formulated to attract gold and most painting mediums, so a mistake lifts away rather than smearing. Kemper makes it for non-porous surfaces.
