S10 is a serrated steel scraper. It is 95 mm (3 3/4 in), a rounded rectangle with teeth along both long edges. The teeth do something different from a plain edge: they cut, and they leave a keyed surface. That is what you want when you are scoring a join, or deliberately texturing, and not what you want on a face you intend to keep smooth. Kemper also makes plain-edged scrapers in the same series if levelling rather than cutting is the job.
