PT340 is the 48 mm (1 7/8 in) triangle in Kemper's PRO-LINE range. PRO-LINE tools use a select hardwood handle with a loop of knife-quality high carbon steel, heat treated and quenched in oil. Carbon steel takes a sharper edge than stainless and holds it longer, at the cost of needing to be dried after use. The 48 mm (1 7/8 in) head decides how much you take per pass and how tight a curve it will follow. Dry it after use - high carbon steel will rust if it is put away wet.
