PL3-X is a pair of Kemper pot lifts, 102 mm (4 in) wide, in a rust-free high-strength aircraft aluminium alloy. They solve the moment every potter knows: the pot is finished, the wall is still soft, and lifting it by hand is how a good piece acquires two dents. The lifts go under the base from opposite sides and take it off flat. Rust-free matters more than it sounds for a tool that spends its life wet.
