The Dragtool is made to be pulled rather than pushed: a long tempered steel blade with a fluted cutout at each end that lifts a clean ribbon of clay and leaves a crisp channel behind it. Mudtools describes the cuts as fluid and expressive, and that is the point - it is a mark-making tool as much as a trimming one, for fluting a thrown wall or carving a line across a slab.
