A curved rib shaped for working an edge - rounding a rim, softening a foot, finishing the line where two surfaces meet. Blue is the firm grade.
EDGY came out of potters asking for a rib that addressed edges specifically, and the curve is cut for exactly that: run it along a rim and it rounds the arris in one pass instead of the three or four it takes to chase a corner off with a kidney rib. It suits the junction where a foot meets a wall, and any line you want softened rather than removed. Blue is the firm grade. It pushes back against the clay instead of folding away from it, which is the grade to reach for when truing a surface. Polymer, so there is no metal edge to bruise the clay. Central hole for hanging.
