A half-moon roughly 13 cm (5 in) across, with one long straight edge, a broad curved sweep and a drawn-out point at one end. The widest of the polymer shapes.
Shape 3 is the big one, around 13 cm (5 in) wide, and the extra width is what it is for — a platter floor or the outside of a large form, where a smaller rib leaves you chasing overlapping passes. The outline is a half-moon: one long straight edge, a broad curve opposite it, and one end drawn out to a point for getting into a corner or a foot ring. On a piece under about 15 cm it is more rib than you need. Blue is the firm grade. Central hole for hanging.
