Rounded-rectangle outline · Long flat edge for compressing · Rounded end plus a squarer corner · Blue = firm flexibility · Throwing and surface smoothing · Hanging hole

A squarer, wider rib with one long flat edge and a rounded end. Built for throwing and for smoothing a surface in fewer passes than a kidney shape manages.

Shape 2 gives up the kidney outline for something closer to a rounded rectangle, and that flat edge is the point of it — a long straight run for compressing a wall or flattening a surface, with a rounded end at one side and a squarer corner at the other for working into a change of angle. It covers more ground per pass than Shape 1, which is why it ends up being the rib that stays on the wheel head. Blue is the firm grade, so the flat edge stays flat while you use it. Central hole for hanging.
