Shape 0 is the one you reach for when the other ribs are simply too big — inside a narrow neck, down in the angle where a handle meets the wall, along the tight curve under a spout. It is a rounded oval rather than a true kidney, and the two long edges are curved to different radii, so you get a tighter and a looser sweep out of one tool without swapping hands. Blue is the firm end of the five-level flexibility scale, which is the grade to reach for when you are truing a surface rather than chasing a soft curve.
