Shape 0 - small kidney · Smallest of the polymer rib shapes · Rounded oval with two edge radii · Detail work in tight areas · Red = very soft flexibility · Polymer, no sharp metal edge · Hanging hole

Shape 0 is the one you reach for when the other ribs are simply too big - inside a narrow neck, down in the angle where a handle meets the wall, along the tight curve under a spout. Red is the second-softest grade.

It is a rounded oval rather than a true kidney, and the two long edges are curved to different radii, so you get a tighter and a looser sweep out of one tool. Red is the second-softest grade. It follows a curve rather than correcting one, which is what you want for burnishing and slip work and wrong for truing a wall. Polymer, so there is no metal edge to bruise the clay. Central hole for hanging.
