DBS
Kemper DBS · Two ball ends: .045 in and .072 in · Presses rather than cuts - no burr · Dots, eyes and rounded impressions

Two ball ends on one shaft, .045 inch and .072 inch, for pressing dots and rounded impressions at two scales.
DBS is Kemper's double ball stylus, with a ball at each end - one .045 inch across, the other .072 inch. A ball stylus presses rather than cuts, so it leaves a rounded impression with no burr to clean up afterwards. That is what makes it the tool for dotted patterns, eyes on a figure, and the small rounded hollows that a pointed tool cannot make without tearing. Two sizes on one shaft means the scale change is a flip of the wrist rather than a swap.
