A tapered natural cork, 13 mm (1/2 in) across the top and 10 mm (3/8 in) across the bottom, for small bottles, cruets, and spice jars.
Turned from one solid piece of natural cork rather than pressed from granules, so the grain runs right through it and the top comes up smooth. Being tapered, it wedges into a neck rather than having to match one exactly, which makes it forgiving on thrown and hand-built work where no two necks come out quite the same. Measure your neck across the inside of the rim and take the cork whose bottom diameter is a shade over it.
