Spectrum's 800 series is a semi-transparent low fire glaze, so the clay body shows through the colour instead of being covered by it. The glaze deepens where it sits thicker and stays lighter where it thins, which brings out carved and impressed detail. Apply it thinly, around two brush coats. Spectrum rates the series cone 06 to 04, 1015 to 1060°C. Lead-free and AP non-toxic. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.
