Pebble Stone Stoneware Glaze

Spectrum's 1100 series is a cone 4/6 stoneware glaze, and this colour is reactive. It is made to move and change in the firing instead of laying down one flat colour, so the result depends on the temperature, how thickly it goes on and the clay underneath, and the same jar can look quite different on a different body. Three brush coats give the full colour. A reduction firing gives a different result from an electric kiln. Lead-free and AP non-toxic. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.
