Satin White Stoneware Glaze

This is one of Spectrum's 1100 series stoneware glazes. It fires to an opaque satin, so the clay body will not show through. Brush on three coats for full colour and fire to cone 5, which is where it will match the jar. It will fire anywhere from cone 4 to cone 6, 1190 to 1230°C, but expect the colour to shift a little at either end. Lead-free and AP non-toxic. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.
