This is one of Spectrum's 1100 series stoneware glazes. The surface is a clear satin. It is less translucent than a clear gloss and mutes underglaze colour somewhat. Brush on three coats for full colour and fire to cone 5, which is where it will match the jar. It will fire anywhere from cone 4 to cone 6, 1190 to 1230°C, but expect the result to shift a little at either end. Lead-free and AP non-toxic. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.
